This is an ongoing album made up of first cuts, demos, alternate versions of songs as i write and record them. It is a musical documentation of my search for Satya.

Description of songs in alphabetical order:
Open Her Mind (cocaine) Koenig Cut:
Open her mind is mainly her talking to me within her distorted sense of reality. It was written to portray something i’ve seen and found to be paramount in many peoples lives. The acoustic guitar and vocals were tracked in my home studio, Closed Blinds. The file was then sent to artist Joe Koenig where he laid down the heavy electric theming on it; really adding the bread and butter which morphed the song into a good demo for a full version rock song.
Open Her Mind (cocaine) Logue Cut:
These are the exact same song files as the Koenig Cut, however i handed over the Protools files to Rocky Logue where he remixed and mastered them, as well as added his guitar style on top of the original files.
San Francisco Bound:
This is the first version of San Francisco Bound ever recorded in a studio, pressed onto a self released EP entitled SCRATCHED. I wrote it in October of ’08 and came down from San Francisco, CA. to Joe Koenig‘s home in Cayucos, CA. to track it in his home studio, the Beach Shack. I laid down the rhythm guitar and vocals; and Joe laid down the second guitar. This song was mixed and mastered by Rocky Logue at Hazel Lane Studio.
The Fool In Me:
I wrote the majority of this song in Hervey Bay, Australia, in the first few days of January ’10. I began writing it on guitar and then came back to the states, finished it on my piano, took it to Rocky Logue of Hazel Lane Studio where he encouraged me to track it live and on piano. I brought my cellist John Turner into the studio for an all night recording / mixing session. We tracked the song live, with John in the studio and myself 50 feet away in the living room, communicating through mic’s and headphones. Since the song was so fresh, it took just under 60 takes to nab the final one you hear here. Rocky Logue fully produced, mixed and mastered this version of the song.
Who I Am:
I wrote this song in October of ’08 while living in San Francisco. In the song i am talking to two different women. The first one being a new girl i was seeing (the girl living downtown in the song San Francisco Bound) and the second being an ex of mine i had recently split from. I recorded this song the same weekend i recorded San Francisco Bound, Peace and Ballad in Joe Koenig’s Beach Shack Studio. This version was handed to Rocky Logue of Hazel Lane Studio where he completely remixed and mastered it, taking it from more of a rock demo to an acoustic song where the focus is primarily on vocals.
